Where can I load my Cash App card?

You can load your Cash App card using credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). Additionally, you can load a Cash App card physically in 2022. at the  following places:

  • 7-Eleven
  • Dollar General
  • Family Dollar
  • GoMart
  • H-E-B
  • KwikTrip
  • Sheetz
  • Speedway
  • StopNGo
  • Thorntons
  • Walgreens
  • Walmart (Customer Service Desk/ Money Centers)

If you physically load your cash card in retail stores, you can do that easily. First, you need to check the nearest retail stores  (“Paper money” option ) on your app, where you can load your card. Some retailers will ask for your ID as document verification, while some retail stores will not.

In my experience, the process is straightforward. First, you visit the retail store and ask for a Cash App reload. Then, the cashier asks you to show your Cash App barcode. Once the cashier scans the barcode within your Cash App, you need to give them paper money. Automatically, money will be on your Cash App.

However, some cashiers will ask you to swipe your Cash Card before scanning the code. In that case, you can ask them to scan the bar code and give them paper money.

If you decide to make a paper money deposit, you need to know that there is an upper limit. You can deposit a maximum of $1000 per rolling seven days. Additionally, you can make $4000 per 30 rolling days. One deposit can not be more than $500 and less than $5. At retail stores, the highest fee that I paid was $4.

Of course,  you can use a bank transfer to load your cash card.
